2021 Common Ground Hymn Madness

Let’s have some fun!

During the month of March, we are going to have a competition to see which hymn is our favorite.  Similar to NCAA March Madness, two hymns compete against each other, with the winner making it to the next round.  The hymns come from four categories: Hymnsing Requests, United Methodist Hymnal Favorites, Holiday Classics, and Faith We Sing Favorites.  The winning hymn will be featured in a worship service in April, so be sure to vote for your favorites each week.

Final 4 hymns:

We are down to the final four hymns in Common Ground’s 2021 Hymn Madness.
This week the hymnsing champion, Let There Be Peace On Earth, will compete against UMH favorites winner, Here I Am, Lord. From the right side of the bracket, Christ The Lord Is Risen Today will compete against Siyahamba / We Are Marching.
Voting for your favorites will be different this round. All voting will be done on our Facebook page.  Since you are only picking two of your favorites, we want you to leave a comment on our Facebook post with your picks AND why you chose them. Post your comment before Wednesday and feel free to share memories and discuss the hymns.
